Checklist for parents
The following are things you need to remember to do in order to
be sure that your application is completed correctly. Please
make sure that you:
- Visit your preferred schools and talk to teachers before
applying
- Speak to staff in schools admission service or your preferred
school to clarify any issues
- Read
Ealing’s prospectus (pdf) and the individual
school’s prospectus so that you understand the application
process
- Read the
criteria for your preferred school
to see if your child is likely to be offered a place
- Only apply for Ealing state-maintained schools through Ealing
Council
- If you live in another borough and are applying for Ealing
schools, apply for at least one school through your home
authority, as it may not be possible to offer you a place at one
of your preferred Ealing schools
- Apply directly to any private or independent schools you are
considering
How to apply

Complete and return an additional information form for any
voluntary-aided school/s for which you have expressed a
preference by the closing date of 5 December 2008

Remember to sign and date the form

Return your form to your preferred primary school by the
closing date of 5 December 2008
