Adult learning grant application forms

The adult learning service in Ealing works closely with community, voluntary and training organisations and the borough's schools in order to provide the best possible learning opportunities for its residents.

The service is mainly funded by the Learning and Skills Council and has four distinct streams:

Family literacy, language and numeracy delivered in schools with school and adult learning staff
Wider family learning delivered in schools and in the community
First steps programmes which include community cohesion projects, ESOL and other basic skills delivered in the community and in schools
A range of programmes for personal leisure and development such as ICT, art, yoga, dance etc. These courses are mainly delivered by the adult learning service but there are opportunities for community, voluntary, training organisations and schools to contribute to these programmes. These are the only courses that are not free to the participants.
