Reality checks
Ealing Council leader Jason Stacey regularly carries out reality checks, where he springs unannounced inspections on the borough’s streets to ensure they are being kept clean.
Councillor Stacey wants to see if the council, our contractors ECT and other partner organisations such as Ealing Homes really are working together effectively to keep Ealing grime-free. Each reality check done involves staff from the council and ECT, so if any problems are found they can be dealt with immediately
The checks help Councillor Stacey personally ensure the council’s three priorities - cleaner streets, safer communities and value for money public services - are all being fulfilled.
