Housing Strategy for Older People 2007-2010

This Housing Strategy for Older People 2007-2010 (pdf) presents a framework for the council and its partner organisations in the future delivery and provision of housing advice and services to elderly residents living in the borough.

The aim is to promote economic and social inclusion, health and well being for older adults in the borough.

It is the result of consultation and research by the council and its partners identifying what is needed to achieve the main strategy objectives:

The strategy identifies three broad challenges and a number of key actions that follow and address these challenges.
