Local Government Pension Scheme regulations require administering authorities such as Ealing Council to publish communications and governance policy statements relating to their pension fund.
In these communication and governance policy statements, we have set out:
Communications policy (word)
This summarises the Council's approach to communicating with
pension fund members, prospective members and employing
authorities.
Governance policy (word)
Summarises the leadership, control, and operational
procedures of the pension fund.
Statement of Investment Principles and Compliance
with Myners (word)
The Statement of Investment Principles is produced to meet
the requirements of the Pensions Act 2004 and to reflect the
government’s voluntary code of conduct for institutional investment
in the UK (the Myners Principles).
Funding stategy statement (FSS) (word)
The FSS is a summary of the fund’s approach to funding
liabilities.
Actuarial Valuation Report as at 31 March 2007

This is based on an actuarial valuation carried out
triennially, which determines pension fund contributions required
over the period 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2011.
