Community safety strategy
The 1998 Crime and Disorder Act placed a responsibility on all local partnerships to produce an audit of local crime, disorder and drugs problems for the local area. The next task is to find possible solutions through community safety strategies. Ealing's community safety strategy, produced by the Safer Ealing Partnership (SEP), outlines a clear and purposeful approach to the issues. The implementation of the strategy will enable real problems and concerns to be addressed by helping key agencies to actively work together.
