Corporate Plan and Community Strategy
'In 2016, Ealing will be a successful borough at the heart of west London, where everyone has the opportunity to prosper and live fulfilling lives in communities which are safe, cohesive and engaged.'
This is the vision for Ealing that the council is working towards in partnership with key public sector organisations, residents, businesses, community and voluntary groups in the borough. It is being co-ordinated through the Local Strategic Partnership.
Two key plans show in detail what we will do to improve the quality of people’s lives. The Community Strategy (pdf) is about the big issues for local people, and the goals and objectives we will work together as partners to achieve in the next 10 years.
The council’s three-year Corporate Plan (pdf) and appendices (pdf) set out clearly our priorities and how we will contribute to making the vision a reality. It has specific, ambitious targets, all of which have a major positive impact on the quality of people’s lives.
The strategy, vision and the targets have all been agreed after widespread consultation with people who live and work in the borough. They will be reviewed regularly to make sure that they continue to meet our community’s needs.
