Getting involved

“Scrutiny committees and panels aim to actively engage people in the decision-making processes of the council and highlight local issues.

The scrutiny process encourages public debate and greater involvement by local people, particularly on issues that interest or affect them. Anyone can get involved by attending meetings and by participating in the committee's investigations.” Communications Strategy for Ealing Scrutiny - November 2006
