Change in circumstances
You must let us know straight away if your circumstances change or if you know your circumstances are going to change (up to 13 weeks before the change is due to happen).
How to report a change in your circumstances
Please print out the
change in circumstances form (pdf), complete it
and return to:
Benefits service, PO Box 32251, Ealing, London W5 2YX or take
it to our
reception. You can also
contact us to request a form.
Change
of address
If you change address within the borough you
do not need to complete a new claim form. Please print out the

Changes that we need to know include:

income support or jobseekers allowance ending
-
you or anyone living with you starts or finishes work or receives a pay increase/decrease
- you or anyone living with you starts work or changes their job
-
any of your children leave school, home or stop getting child benefit
-
someone over the age of 18 stops full time education
-
anyone moves into or out of your home (including lodgers and sub-tenants)
-
your income or the income of anyone living with you, including benefit changes
-
you, or anyone living with you, become a student, go on a youth training scheme, go into hospital or a nursing home, go into prison, or get , change or leave a job
-
your rent changes
-
you move home
-
you or your partner are going to be away from your home for more than four weeks
-
you receive any decision from the Home Office

there is a change to anything you have told us about

if you go to prison
