During June 2005, the residents and businesses in Northolt were consulted on whether they would like a Controlled Parking Zone in the area.

Consultation results
The consultation was sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class post,
allowing residents at least four weeks response time. A total
number of 3063 documents were issued with 956 returned. This gives
a response rate of 31%.

Recommendations to Area Committee
Officer recommendations were presented to the
Northolt Area Committee on the 21 September 2005. The
recommendations were not to introduce controlled parking to
Northolt or
introduce CPZ only on the roads listed below:

What happens next?
Officer recommendations were presented to the Area
Committee in September 2005. The Area Committee passed the
recommendations for approval at the Cabinet meeting on 8 November.
Cabinet has decided not to introduce a controlled parking zone for
Northolt at the present.
