North Ealing and west Acton controlled parking zone consultation
During November and December 2004, the residents and businesses in north Ealing and west Acton were consulted on whether they would like a controlled parking zone in the area. The areas were consulted together but the overall results have been reported separately.

Consultation results
The consultation was sent via Royal Mail second class post,
allowing residents at least three weeks response time. A total
number of 1666 documents were issued with 558 returned. This gives
a response rate of 33.5%.
The data has been analysed to provide the following

Recommendations to Area Committee
Officer recommendations were presented to the Ealing Area
Committee on 13 January 2005. Concluded from results, it was
recommended to introduce controlled parking regulations to the
following streets and establish
the West Acton CPZ:

Current status
The north Ealing and west Acton controlled parking
zone was approved and residents received their permits on and
around the 3 April 2006. By 10 April 2006, the controlled parking
zone came into full effect.
