Mount Avenue/Birkdale Road area 20mph zone
In January 2007, residents were consulted on a proposed 20mph zone in the Mount Avenue area, Ealing. Following consultation feedback, Ealing Council engineers redesigned the traffic calming measures on Madeley Road and re-consulted in April 2008.
Residents were explained that the proposed measures will form part of the existing Mount Avenue 20mph zone and that for the 20mph speed limit on Madeley Road to be enforced, all of the proposals must be installed. The proposal and consultation document (pdf) is available to view.
A total of 423 addresses were consulted and 93 responded, which gives a response rate of 22%. Please view the overall results (pdf) from this consultation.
