Boston Manor CPZ consultation results

During July and August 2006 residents and businesses in Boston Manor were consulted on whether they would like a controlled parking zone in the area.

Consultation results
Consultations were sent out via Royal Mail second class post and reached residents on the 24 July 2006. The return date printed on the questionnaires was the 18 August 2006. However due to July and August being a ‘holiday period’, the return date was extended to the 25 August 2006 therefore leaving residents 33 days to respond. A total of 1642 consultations were sent out and 818 usable responses were returned. This gives a response rate of 49%. Residents also had the option of completing the questionnaire online.

The next steps
Based on the results, officer recommendations will be presented to the Hanwell Area Committee in November 2006. The committee will make a recommendation to Cabinet.
