Acton Green consultation

During December 2004, the residents and businesses in Acton Green were consulted on whether they would like a controlled parking zone in the area.

Consultation results
The consultation was sent via Royal Mail 2nd class post, allowing residents at least three weeks response time. A total number of 131 documents were issued with 64 returned. This gives a response rate of 49%.

Recommendation to area committee
Officer recommendations were presented to the Acton Area Committee on the 19 January 2005.  Concluded from results, it was recommended that the controlled parking regulations for the existing Acton Green CPZ, be extended to cover the following roads:

What happens next?
The extension of the Acton Green Zone M has been completed and enforcement began on 12 September 2005. A parking permit is now required to park in this zone.
