Ealing CommunitySafe
Ealing Council, Ealing PCT, Metropolitan Police and London Fire
Brigade have joined forces to offer one unified communication
system called Ealing CommunitySafe to advise and alert residents
and businesses to emergencies.
CommunitySafe will offer users the opportunity to receive urgent
alerts to live incidents via messages to mobiles (charged at 12p
per text) or non-urgent alerts via email for advice and
guidance.

Once registered, users can join any of the following groups:

Urgent: Messages will be sent to this group where there
is an imminent threat to life and/or property in the borough of
Ealing i.e. large-scale emergencies, road closures and cordons.
In some cases this group will also receive the most urgent
witness appeals.

Crime alerts and appeals: Subscribe to this group if you
would like to receive local crime alerts. You will also receive
information relating to ongoing police investigations where
public assistance is required i.e. wanted or missing persons
and witness appeals.

Public health and advice: Messages from this group
give Ealing residents the information they need to help them
stay healthy. Topics currently include: help to stop smoking,
sexual health advice and how to choose and book a hospital of
your choice for treatment. More health information will be
added regularly.

Safer communities and fire prevention: This group
will receive seasonal crime prevention advice and London Fire
Brigade information about fire prevention activity. We will
send details of: the latest criminal activities, where there is
a rise or fall of crime type in particular areas, general
community safety information, and severe weather and
flood warnings.
