Tender opportunities

The council provides businesses with public procurement opportunities in the form of tender advertisements and Prior Information Notices (PINs).

All contract notices for upcoming tenders which fall above the European Union thresholds (approx £144,000 for services and supply and £3.6 million for works) will also be advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union. An electronic version of this is updated daily on the Tenders Electronic Daily website.

Carers' Centre Support, Information and Advice Service
Ealing Council is seeking applications from suitably skilled and experienced organisations to provide support, information and advice services at Ealing Carers' Centre, and the general management of the Carers' Centre.

Ealing Carer's Centre is an established service currently funded by Ealing Council through the carers grant with a wide remit across both health and social care services within the Borough.  The commissioning lead rests with Ealing Council.

Elements of the successful application will include:

The duration of the resultant contract will be until the 31 March 2011 with an option to extend for a further one year.

Provision of a managed service for teaching and support staff to schools within the London Borough of Ealing
Ealing Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors/organisations to provide supply staff to  chools within the London Borough of Ealing. Potential contractors will need to demonstrate a proven track record of providing a large volume of supply staff in a similar sized organisation (eg in Ealing this would be to 90 primary and secondary schools spread over a large geographical area).

Provision of multi disciplinary design services for the restoration and development of Pitzhanger Manor and Walpole Park
Ealing Council is now seeking expression of interests from suitably skilled and experienced candidates of multi disciplinary design services to bring forward and implement plans for the redevelopment of Pitzhanger Manor, an important Grade 1 listed building. The project will renew and improve the Manor, interpret its history, remodel exhibition and visitor facilities and redevelop the historic landscape and facilities of surrounding Walpole Park. The multi disciplinary team will lead all elements of the design of this overall scheme, from master planning to phased implementation of packages of the project. Tendering teams are likely to include architects, landscape consultants, exhibition design consultants, engineers, historic buildings specialists.

Children Centres Outreach Service

Ealing Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors/organisations to provide services to  promote access to the Children's Centre core offer including (but not limited to) intergrated early learning, care, family support, health services, outreach services to children and families not attending the Centre, access to training and employment advice.

Prior Information Notice (PIN)
The council also publishes an annual Prior Information Notice (pdf) to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) every April. This holds details of all forthcoming contracts available to let over a 12-month period that fall above the OJEU thresholds.
