Ealing Council devolves buying decisions throughout the organisation. Managers in each service area are best placed to understand local needs.

The strategic procurement team provides specialist advice and support to all council departments. It also manages a range of corporate contracts for temporary staff, stationery, paper, photocopiers, and food. These contracts can be used across all departments, including schools and other educational establishments.
