Is your neighbourhood getting better or worse? That’s just one of the questions being put to thousands of residents across Ealing this autumn.
The questions are being asked as part of a residents’ survey, being carried out on behalf of Ealing Council. The research will give 3000 residents the chance to have their say on local services and to tell the council what it’s doing well and what it could do better.
The confidential survey will be carried out during the next six weeks by independent company BMG Research, with the last interviews being completed on 12 October. All those asked to take part will be selected at random.
Leader, Councillor Jason Stacey, said: “The survey is really important because it will help us to plan and improve our services. We decided our current priorities – cleaner streets, safer communities and value for money – by looking at what people said in previous surveys, so it really is important that people tell us what they think.
Residents will be asked for personal information, such as age and ethnicity to ensure the people interviewed are representative of the residents of the borough. The answers are absolutely confidential and the council will only receive a summary report outlining the results of the survey, without any personal information about any individuals.
If you have any queries regarding this survey please contact Steve Handey at BMG Research on 0121 333 6006 or Ethan Greenwood at Ealing Council on 020 8825 5485.
The results will be published around Christmas time and will be
