What do you think about traffic calming and 20mph zones? (PR 1317)

Ealing residents are being invited to share their views on traffic calming measures and 20mph zones at a meeting next week.

On Thursday, 6 November, a specialist scrutiny panel will be hearing from two residents’ groups as well as representatives from the London Ambulance Service and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA).

Other groups including The Association of British Drivers (ABD) and the Ealing Cycling Campaign will also have their say at the meeting in the Town Hall, New Broadway, Ealing, at 7pm.

All residents are invited to attend the meeting and can participate in the discussion at the chairman’s discretion. The panel will meet again on 14 January to start to form their recommendations and will consider their final report in March.

Residents can also contribute their views to the panel by completing the online form. Visit the consultation pages at www.ealing.gov.uk/consultations

Councillor Swarn Singh Kang, Scrutiny Panel Chairman, said: “ These are issues that residents tend to feel very strongly about and this is a chance to have their voices heard.
These views will be shared in the report that the Council’s Cabinet will consider before any decisions are made.”

The meeting will be held in committee room 3.
