Old favourites are set to share the stage with top new artists during five outstanding days of jazz entertainment.
This year’s Ealing Jazz Festival, which has been going for more than 20 years, boasts an impressive line-up with some of London’s biggest jazz talents. New on the scene this year is Xantonè Blacq, who has regularly performed with Amy Winehouse and Nigel Kennedy.

The Jazz Festival includes a day of special tributes in memory of legendary trumpet maestro Tommy McQuater, who died in January at the age of 93.

For the finale, youngest son Tommy Jnr has assembled some of his father's very special friends who, together with Dick Esmond and the Sound of 17 Big Band, will see the 24th Ealing Jazz Festival out in style with a heartfelt tribute to the irrepressible entertainer that was Tommy McQuater.

Emerging from the heyday of the big bands as one of its most admired instrumentalists, his musical career spanned eight decades.  He made the last of many appearances at the Ealing Jazz Festival in 2007.

Councillor Phil Taylor, Cabinet Member for Customer and Community Services, said: "We’ve got five fantastic days of fun and entertainment lined up. This is a hugely popular event and I’m sure the special tribute to Tommy McQuater will be well attended. He was well known to the Ealing Jazz Festival and we will certainly miss his performances."

This year’s Jazz Festival also features the works of Sergiy Shkanov, a professional artist. He is establishing an international reputation, having held exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland, Netherlands, Austria, and United Kingdom.
