Polish community information event (PR 1048)
Ealing Council’s Community Safety Team has joined the Police to organise a 'Polish Open Day' in East Acton.
The event will be held on Sunday 16 September in Acton Park from 11am-5pm. Entrance is free and is suitable for all age groups.
The event will be an opportunity for the Polish community to get useful information from representatives from Ealing Council, police Safer Neighborhood Teams, the Citizens Advice Bureau, the Primary Care Trust, voluntary organisations and businesses.
As part of the London Week of Peace, the event aims to inform Polish people about community safety and cohesion.
There will be food, entertainment and activities such as a five-a-side football tournament and a bouncy castle.
The event will help promote the Council’s priority of safer communities.
