Allenby Road 20mph zone consultation (PR 1047)
Residents in Greenford and Southall are being asked their views on proposals to make Allenby Road and nearby roads a 20mph zone.
Ealing Council has drawn up the plans in response to safety fears from people living nearby because of motorists using the roads in the area as rat runs and driving too fast.
The proposed 20mph zone is made up of measures including:

road humps, speed tables and speed cushions

entry treatments to the zone (signage and a red-coloured road surface)

double yellow lines at junctions

single yellow lines (parking restricted 8-9.30am and 4-6.30pm Monday to Friday)

footway parking.
People have until 21 September to give their views. Residents in the area have been sent a consultation form.
