Residents are being given the opportunity to find out more about improvements to refuse and recycling services from 19 November at roadshows taking place across the borough.
The Council’s Recycle More Tour will visit six locations and will have experts on hand to provide recycling advice and answer residents’ questions.

· Outside West Ealing Library, Melbourne Avenue, West

Friday 2 November
· Tesco Hoover Building, Perivale 10am-Noon
· Outside Woolworths, Greenford Broadway, Greenford

Saturday 3 November
· Town Square, Ealing Broadway Centre, Ealing 10am-Noon
· Outside Quality Food and Iceland, South Road, Southall

From 19 November wide-ranging improvements will be made to refuse and recycling services in the borough.
The £3.8 million revamp of services taking place from 19
November will include:
· Same day collections of refuse and recycling
· Same day pick-up for missed refuse collections
reported to the Council by 5pm
· Street cleaning to take place by the end of the next
working day following collections
· Free wheelie bins for parts of Southall
· Collection of plastic with household recycling
services
· Introduction of weekly garden waste recycling
· Improved appointment-based special bulky waste
service
