Ealing announces new Mayor and Cabinet member (PR 982)

A new Mayor has been elected and a new member added to Ealing's decision-making Cabinet following the Council's Annual Meeting last night (Tuesday 15 May).

The Mayor is Councillor Mrs Hazel Ware and her charities are the West London Cardiovascular Health Programme and Dormers Wells Lodge Residential Care Home. Her deputy is Councillor Amit Kapoor.

Councillor Vlod Barczuk has been added to the Cabinet and takes on a new transport portfolio. Councillor Will Brooks, who was the Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport is now the Environment and Street Services portfolio holder.

The Cabinet members and their portfolios are now as follows:

Children’s Services and Deputy Council Leader – Councillor Ian Gibb
Adult Services and Housing – Councillor Ian Green
Environment and Street Services– Councillor Will Brooks
